Small & Mid-Sized Law Firm Interest Group

The Small & Mid-Sized Law Firm Interest Group is a combined interest group operating under the Recruiting, Lawyer PD, and DEI Sections of NALP, and was created for NALP members who are in the recruiting, PD, DEI, and other professional departments in small to mid-size law firms who seek to collaborate with similarly situated colleagues for purposes of networking, professional development, sharing resources, and discussing current events and trends as they pertain to and affect small to mid-sized firms. Hello New Community!

I'm Windley Hofler Walden, the Director of Professional Development and Associate Recruiting at Stevens & Lee, a law firm of ~200 lawyers across 16 offices, primarily in Central PA and NJ.  I also handle the firm's CLE functions.  While I have a great administrative assistant and collaborate with our two shareholder recruiters, I am essentially a department of one!  I wear many hats, my favorite of which is universal mentor and coach to our 50 associates. 

I'm so pleased to see this group forming and look forward to sharing ideas a resources with similarly situated colleagues!
