Good afternoon all! I hope everyone is doing well and for those who are heading to the AEC next week, I hope to see you! There are a couple of items I wanted to share and start you thinking about so we can continue the growth and support of our Interest Group. I have found our meetings and the connections I have made to be invaluable, and hope that you all have as well!
If you are attending the AEC next week, please remember to attend our Interest Group meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 12:30 to 2:15 in Room 204 - it will be great to connect in person and start thinking about our plan for 2026-27!
RFPs are open for the 2026 Professional Development Institute (deadline May 15) and the 2027 Annual Education Conference (deadline July 1). Please consider submitting an RFP to one or both of these conferences, and if you have any questions, please reach out to me – I am on the AEC Conference Planning Committee for the 2027 AEC in Seattle and would love to help brainstorm or connect you with a potential presenter or other NALPer to work with you on your RFP. Also, we will be sending a Google doc soon where you can submit ideas and possibly find a presenter or something you would like to present yourself!
NALP's 2026 Survey of Legal Career Professionals in Law Firms and Employer Organizations is now OPEN through May 8, 2026. Please take a moment to complete this survey - this is an incredible opportunity for small and mid-size firms to offer data that is specific to us!
