Bio

Tony has more than 20 years of experience in student counseling, non-profit governance, and law practice experience. Before re-joining the University of Georgia School of Law in 2015 as the Career Development Office’s public interest and government employment specialist, he served four years as the Executive Director of Children First, an Athens, GA based non-profit working with children and families involved in the foster care system in North East Georgia. Tony also served as the Assistant Dean for Career Planning and Professional Development at the University of Illinois College of Law, was the HR director for a startup health care consultancy, and practiced law in the Washington, DC area. 

He has served on the NALP Board of Directors and multiple committees and work groups. He currently serves on Georgia Law’s Bar Passage Work Group. Waller earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude in agricultural economics and his law degree from UGA.
